That was some cool footage, wish I coulda been there. I think a flotilla "raid" of catamarans is a cool idea. It was easy for me to view the videos on Facebook. I couldn't see them from just clicking on the link.
The footage from the cell phone was not too hot - and I have more work to do figuring out how to share this stuff seamlessly. The Sailing Anarchy boys make all the live broadcasting look easy - it's not (yet).
Anyway, I shot a little footage on a Flip video camera which I've put up on YouTube - it's embedded at the beginning of this thread.

The flip video looked great. I have used an iphone app called Ivideo out at 10 mile and it worked pretty good I was able to upload the video to facebook or youtube right from the beach from my iphone within minutes it was online for the world too see.

Can you make them in a format that doesn't take Quicktime? I don't like it casue it overrides Windows Media Palyer.
