The boat that Dub and Tommy Granger have been building for the past 4 years was launched today. O.I.D. started as a 27ft Stiletto, but is now a unique one of a kind 33ft lightweight rocket ship. The attention to detail and weight saving is incredible. Here is some footage of here crossing under the power-line on Robinson Bayou on the maiden voyage. I assisted in checking the clearance and we had a safety boat with tow line attached in case of engine failure. Good view from up that pylon...

That is great news! I know that Tommy and especially his dad have put an incredible amount of time into building the boat. If you wonder how it got the name OID, it means "One Incredible Dad". Congratulations on your maiden voyage!
