Bonfire!
Rita and I will be there to watch the sunset and witness the inferno to follow. We will be bringing a dozen or two pallets for fuel.

We will actually be going
We will actually be going down Friday evening and staying the whole weekend.  My sails are with C&C sailmakers so I am essentially boatless at this time.  I'll bring my gear just in case I can scavenge a ride or two.

Anyone looked at the forecast
Anyone looked at the forecast for Saturday not too much wind at the moment! So what time is the Bonfire starting and what do people need to bring if they are considering coming?

I have a Honda CRF50 with a 88cc big bore kit with a bunch of stunt goodies on it. Its a parking lot bike used for stunting and then is converted over to a miniGP bike when the Katy track is open.

I have a Honda 250 four stroke also but dont really feel that the beach is the place to ride it. I have too much money and time invested in it to get it covered in sand.

I thought about riding the R1 down tomorrow but if i did i couldnt bring any gear or drinks.

I love riding! I go through phases with bikes...I buy one and ride for a while then sell. I always say "Im done for now" and eventually end up with another one down the road. Ive tryed my hardest to stay away from them but they keep coming back.

LOL - I have the same issue with boats!
I just got back into riding after decades of not.  I have a dual sport bike - a TW200 - the ultimate beach bike (well, next to the BW200).  I just picked up a sweet Honda CMX 450 Rebel so I could ease into cruising (I was always on dirt bikes in the past).
I have to work tomorrow & won't likely get off work in time to make the beach before dark:30.  If I manage to escape early, I'll definitely bring the TW.

A Fun Evening For Sure
Bruce was the hero of the day as his wood supply was the primary source of fuel.  Rains from the week prior made dry wood a premium and had it not been for bruce the fire would have been smaller than it was.  But I think it safe to say that all had a good time.  I came over to the "spot" at about two.  Todd and Teddy were already on the water.  David, Trey, and Lee were kicken back.  Apparently Lee and David came by sea in Lee's runabout.  Bruce showed up shortly after and soon Frank and Patrice (sp) came along as well.  Chris and his girlfriend along with Andrew Tatton came for the festivities as well.  We lit the fire off at about 20 till dark because we were all cold.  I went back to the house to fix and eat dinner and when I returned I found Stephanie has joined in and I must have missed Ernest and Rita by just a few minutes.  Frank and his wife had come out as well.  Sorry I can't remember her name.  Stay tuned for the details for the next event.
