Once again it is time for the anual "Learn to Sail Clinic" hosted by the Texas City Dike Yacht Club.  The class will include classroom or beachhouse instruction on Saturday morning starting at 9:00.  See below for directions to the beach house.  Immediately following the classroom instructions we will begin boat inspections on the beach at or near the Public Beach Access 3.  We will then have on the water instruction for the rest of the day on Saturday.  We wrap up Saturday with debreifing on the beach which I am sure will be followed by a bonfire of some sort.  Sunday we will run a relay drill between Beach Access number 3 and the Ten Mile Spot.  The cost for the class is 20.00 which is just to cover the expenses.

Directions to the Casey Beach House.  Turn toward the bay at Public Beach Access # 3.  There is a blue sign on the bay side of Blue Water Highway.  The road deadends at a pink beach house, turn right.  Our beach house will be on your left and has a lifeboat infront of it that is being used as a planter.  My phone number is 713-449-8667 if you need more guideance or if you have questions.

New to the sport?

When you say new to the sport is this for people who have purchased a boat already or for people who have an interest in it and would like to come out and give it a try before they purchase a boat?

All are welcome to attend.

All are welcome to attend.  If you do not have a boat and would like to see what it is all about I am pretty confident that we can you a ride to see what it is like.

I'm signed up for the learn

I'm signed up for the learn to sail clinic.  My wife and daughter unexpectedly show some interest in attending the class room portion.  Is it Ok if a have a few extra tag-alongs for the class-room instruction?

Of course

We would love to have your family there for the class room.  I am sure we can also get them some rides as well.
